1:00pm: SPORTS OPENING.
Music By Skipton Brass Band
Tombola, Coconut Shy, Pillow Fight, Ducking Stool, Vintage Cars, Punch & Judy, and other sideshows, Local and Open children’s races, Children’s attractions bouncy castle and cave maze,….and lots more.
2.00pm: 10 MILE ROAD RACE.
Via Hartlington, Hebden, Grassington, Threshfield, Swinden Corner, Linton,
Thorpe…Approx. time 50-75 min.
- Age: Competitors must be 18 years of age on 24th August 2019.

- Mens : £65, £50, £35, £25, £20,
- Womens: £65, £50, £35,

- Veterans:
- Mens: V40 1st £20, 2nd £20, 3rd £10: V50 1st £20, 2nd £15, 3rd £10. V60 1st £20. 2nd £15, 3rd £10: V70 1st £20.
- Womens: V40 1st £20, 2nd £15, 3rd £10: V50 1st £20: V60 1st £20: V70 1st £20

3.30pm: Start of DALES JUNIOR FELL RACES
Ages are as of the 31st December 2019 - note this is a change to FRA Rules as compared to 2018
The minimum age for competition is 6 years on the day of the race.
- Categories: Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, Under 17, Under 19.
- Maximum distances as specified FRA Rule 10 will be adhered to, but the organisers retain the right to run some categories together whilst still retaining each categories placing.
- Prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Boy, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Girl. The "Cudworth Trophy" is awarded to the first local in the U18 category.
- ENTRY FEE £2.00 ENTRIES FOR JUNIOR RACES TAKEN ON THE DAY.
- "LOCAL" is defined as resident or attending school within the Parishes of Bolton Abbey Bolton, Burnsall, Appletreewick, Barden. Skyreholme, Howgill, Thorpe, Drebley, and Hartlington.
- A Parent or Guardian will be required to sign as "Responsible Adult" for all entrants below 18 years old, and complete a parental consent form IN PERSON on the day, (even if pre-registered!) in order to comply with FRA rules and insurance requirements. NO EXCEPTIONS CAN BEMADE.
4.30pm: THE CLASSIC FELL RACE
BRITAINS PREMIER SHORT DISTANCE RACE
- Millennium Cups, donated to the Winners of the Classic Fell and Ladies Races- to be engraved and kept in the Red Lion after presentation on the day.
- Climb to approx. 1,350ft. Average time 13-18 minutes. Age: Competitors must be 18 years on 25th August 2018.
- CLASSIC PRIZE OF £1,000 TO ANY COMPETITOR BREAKING THE RECORD OF 12.48.
- PRIZES:
- Mens :£65, £50, £35, £20, £15, £10. The "Horton Smith Cup" is additionally awarded to the male runner finishing in 1st position.
- Womens: £65, £50, £35. The "Grayshon Family Cup" is additionally awarded to the female runner finishing in 1st position.
- 1st to summit £15.
- Veterans
- Mens: V40 1st £20, 2nd £15, 3rd£10: V50 1st £20, 2nd £15, 3rd £10: V60 1st £20, 2nd £15. 3rd £10: V70 1st £20.
- Womens: V40 1st £20, 2nd £15, 3rd £10: V50 1st £20: V60 1st £20
- Any runner not in receipt of a prize who completes the course in under 14.20, £3.
